i'm just popping in from time to time on the forum. i'm gonna post one part of all of the "Kothl Knights" in one room. just because i need to know if the personalities are accurate.

Part Four

James had been sitting at the edge of a cliff overseeing the Toaleen Ocean thinking to himself. As he did so a ray of light suddenly shot down through the cloud-covered sky and into the distant ocean. It looked as though it came from the heavens as some sort of sign.
“What is that?” James whispered to himself.
“That would be a Ray of Hope.” A familiar voice said from behind James, which caused him to snap his head around, as he placed his hand on the handle of his sword, to see the woman who was speaking.
James recognized her and said with ease as he released his grip, “Oh… it’s you Katlyn.”
“It’s called the Ray of Hope to remind someone who has lost theirs that there is always hope. But only those on this cliff can see it.” Katlyn explained. Then she walked over to James, sat next to him, and continued speaking. “I happen to have a strong feeling that it is your ray. You should know that the way today’s battle went is not your fault.”
“But you don’t know that!” James exclaimed in protest. “It was my fault… and if I’m the most fit of all of us to lead, then…”
“Don’t you dare finish that sentence James!” Katlyn exclaimed at James in anger.
“…Our cause is pointless. Especially when there’s no chance to win. The way things went today proves it!” James shouted back. Then he stood up and threw the rock he was holding into the ocean. “There is no denying that.” As he finished he began walking down the path that led to the Psyatin Pub.
Katlyn quickly stood up and faced James. “Isn’t it possible that Ledradin had discovered our plans?” This caught James’ attention that had made him stop to turn and face her. As he did so she walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. “Because honestly, you are a great leader. And there is no way we should have lost, unless he DID find out.”
“Do you know what you’re doing right now? You’re marking one of our leaders as a traitor! I mean, they are the only ones who knew of our battle plans long enough before the battle to inform Ledradin. That’s mutiny!” James said with authority.
Katlyn just simply stepped closer to James and said in response, “What do you plan on doing about it James?” in a flirtatious kind of way.
James just stood there thinking of what to say while looking into her eyes that were filled with trust and passion. Then said, “I think I’m going to talk this over with Ron, because I think you’re onto something. Thanks Katlyn.” And gave her a quick kiss on her cheek and started walking down the path once more.
As he did so he had realized that the ray was still there. As he noticed this he heard Katlyn whisper something. “He’ll never fall in love with me the way I love him.”
James just opened his eyes and said, “I heard that Katlyn.” Then he noticed people, of whom he’d only recognized Ron, had been circled around him. After which he had realized he was on a bed inside of, what seemed to be, a wooden cabin lit by candlelight.
“Umm… heard what? I didn’t even say anything.” A woman said in the back of the room, while sitting on a chair next to the fireplace, of whom would only be known as Katlyn. “How would you even know my name?”
“I think I might have mentioned you on the way here. I can’t remember though.” Ron said while scratching his head.
“You know, that’s the first sign of old age there Mr. Driken.” One of the men in the far corner of the room said which had caused the group to start laughing.
“You need to respect your elders Bogdan!” A woman standing next to Ron exclaimed with authority.
The man named Bogdan seemed to begin saying something but Ron raised his hand and interrupted. “Easy Jenny. He’s just simply young and stupid. Heheh…”
“HEY!” Bogdan exclaimed with anger while, in turn, interrupting Ron.
“…BUT, we’re just kidding around with one another.”
“I know. But he’s just so rude!” Jenny said.
“Humph… you know it babe!” Bogdan replied as he hoped that he would get a rise out of her, but failed miserably as she just rolled her eyes.
“Quit trying to be funny in front of the new guy Bogdan.” Another woman said that James thought was somewhat familiar.
He just simply laughed to himself and said, “You know I AM funny, and not trying. Little Miss Olivia.”
“I have to agree with her Bogdan. You are TRYING to be funny. I mean, seriously, you piss us off more often than make us laugh.” Some guy said as he was leaning on the wall between a table and the fireplace.
“…Shut it Chris!”
“Yeah Chris. Leave him alone. It’s not his fault he’s something as unimportant as a scout and has to try to be entertaining.” Katlyn said as she began laughing to herself.
“Yeah. Haha. Hey, wait a minute. I’m a scout!” Another man exclaimed.
“Oh, shut up Simon. You’re a harvester too. You may be bad at it, but you are still a harvester dammit!” Some guy in front of James said as he was slightly chuckling to himself.
“Jeez. I can just feel the love here. Are you guys always like this?” James asked while laughing in his mind.
“Yes.” All sixteen of them said in unison.
“Oh goodie. What have I gotten myself into?” James asked aloud, without noticing it, and in a sarcastic tone.
“Look what you did Xavier. You scared him.” Simon said.
“I think your face did.” Xavier snapped right back.
“Will you children stop it.”
Then they both shut up. But Bogdan continued where they left off. “Just ‘cause you’re old enough to be somebody’s grandpa, Adrian, doesn’t give you the right to tell us to stop. It’s fun!” Bogdan said in a funny manner.
“Hey!” Ron and some other, older woman said at once. But the woman continued. “If he’s old enough to be a grandpa, where does that leave me who’s 57? Twenty years older!”
“Well Thelsie, it’s simple. Besides the fact that you’re just a mother, due to the fact your only child, Eclonis, needs to get laid for a first time before you can be a grandma. You’re dead and you just don’t know it.”
Just as soon as he finished talking, a man sitting on a chair behind Ron and Jenny shot straight up causing the chair to go flying into the fire. Then exclaimed in anger, “Watch how you talk to my mother!” as he turned to face Bogdan.
Eclonis started steadily walking over to him. Bogdan just simply cowered in his corner as he said, “Easy Eclonis, easy. Wenturet, you better get your boy. I’d rather not die today.” in a demanding tone.
“Then you better watch your mouth. But I got it this time.” Wenturet then stood up and jumped in front of Eclonis. “C’mon Eclonis, take my chair and sit down. You know he’s just a jackass.”
“I know. Shit.” Eclonis then took Wenturet’s chair and put it where the other, now charred, chair was and sat down. “Wenturet won’t always be around to protect you from me man. So watch it.”
Wenturet walked over to Bogdan and hit him slightly in the arm. “I just bought that chair too.”
“Ow! Then hit Eclonis!”
“You provoked him!” Wenturet shouted. Then he just simply walked over next to Eclonis and leaned on the desk. Bogdan just simply threw his hands up into the air as if surrendering. As all this went on, the rest of the group just sat or stood where they were with a look of agitation and excitement across their faces. Seconds after, it got deathly silent in the Kothl House.
“Well then. I think I’d better introduce the last few Knights before somebody gets killed.” Ron said as he stood and began pointing around the room as he said each of their names. “That’s Matt, Phil, Jody, and Arthur.”
“Lemme guess, Phil and Jody are married. Katlyn and Chris are siblings. Bogdan has a crush on Katlyn, who has turned him down numerous times. You and Jenny are secretly involved with each other, but not anymore. Last, but not least, Miles recruited you all at one point or another, in some way or another. Except Ron who had a hand in creating the Kothl Knights along with Miles.” James explained as if it all just rolled off his tongue. After he said this, the room fell deathly silent once again. This went on for close to ten minutes. Then suddenly, everyone started talking at once.
“How long have you two been together?”
“When did this all start?”
“How long have you had a crush on Katlyn?”
“Yeah, what he said!”
“That explains all the flirting.”
“Why do you keep turning him down?”
“All of us were recruited by Miles?”
“How do you know all of this?!”
Then the room fell silent again. This time for only a few seconds because Ron cut the silence short. “That’s a good question. How DO you know all of this? I didn’t say a thing about any of this. Some of it even I didn’t know. And I’m the leader!” Ron said dramatically.
“I don’t know. It all just came to me, like my name back on Swentiller Island.”
“Dammit James! I wanted that crush to be a secret!” Bogdan shouted at James in anger.
“I would too If I kept getting turned down.” Eclonis said to Bogdan in a vengeful kind of way.
“At least I have the balls to get turned down. Heheh…” Bogdan said in response.
“Wait a minute! How long have you had a crush on my sister?!” Chris asked, but Bogdan just sat back in silence.
“Too long if you ask me.” Simon said as he looked at him and chuckled to himself.
“Hold on… you knew Simon?” Chris asked in disbelief.
“Of course I knew. When we’re doing our scout thing we have to talk about something.”
“If you said that James, then why didn’t you say anything about Eclonis having a crush on…” Before he could finish, Eclonis threw some kind of marble at Bogdan.
“You finish that sentence and I’ll teleport you to the middle of the Toaleen Ocean.” Eclonis said threateningly. Bogdan just gulped as he cowered further into his corner.
Simon simply leaned over to Bogdan and asked in a whisper, “Who does he have a crush on?”
Bogdan just whispered back as he glared over at Eclonis. “I’ll tell you later.”
“Do you think we can stop all this nonsense and question whether or not James is a spy?” Arthur asked with slight irritation.
“You think I’m a spy?” James asked in surprise.
“Yes.”
“That’s not possible. On Swentiller he had some sort of vision where he was fighting Ledradin. Afterwards I noticed the scar on his back. Only one person and only one sword are capable of that, and that person is Ledradin along with Nisoterous, his sword.” Ron explained in James’ defense.
“Did you notice the scar before or after the ‘vision’?”
“After. But only because I hadn’t seen his back before.”
“What are you thinking Arthur?” Simon asked in curiosity.
Arthur took a second or two to respond but, nonetheless, did. “I’m not quite sure yet.”
“Want me to try to find something out?” Bogdan asked as he decided to quit cowering in his corner.
“Yes, both you and Simon. I’ll tell you two about it later.”
“Well, that’s enough fun for one day guys. I say we pick it up again in the morning after we are all thinking straight. So get some sleep everyone. Especially you James.” Ron instructed.
“Okay.” James said quickly.
“Yes sir.” Everyone else said as one.
Then all of them went through a portal of some kind one by one. Which was in front of what looked to be a door. After each one walked into it there was a strange whirring noise and a green haze above the platform left in their absence. Soon enough, James was left alone in the room.
“They’re a fun group of guys I guess.” James said quietly to himself. Then did as was suggested and went to sleep with only a solid green beam of light emitting from the portal to light the room.

FYI- all of the names are people i made up or some Rivans. Some i don't have names for. It's kinda obvious who's who though.
