GarD reserves its right to dislike others or like them. We wouldn't impose crap on our members to make them like or dislike Riva, but I can say a lot of people are pissed at the special treatment Adarah gets. Only used the bot once myself for magic essies and didn't even buy that many -- way overpriced.

So finally it is becoming clear that Minion and Daxon intent is to fight Adarah location. Only in order to accomplish their achivement they have choose to curse Adarah in public repeatedly. It happens that Adarah is a registered bot, and is placed where it is with the permission of game admins. But instead of use the appropiate chanells to make their complaints, they are threatning rivans and using bad words trough Adarah in game, creating a unconfortable situations to us rivans, who works very hard as a team to keep our bot with provisions. Coco is always making his best effort to avoid Adarah prejudice ppl, keeping right and fair prices over the market price. We work a lot to make Adarah not a profit targeting bot, but a bot that helps ppl getting what they need at hand. I will report this situation to mods, and I ask Minion and Daxon to keep their complaints on the appropriate channel. For rivans, it is this guest section, for the mods of el, I recomend el forum. I think that offending Adarah in game, at the same time we have honest rivans working hard to suplie their properly registered bot, their proud, repeatedly, goes agains the game rules, and if it is not directed on rivans, as they are stating, but on mods, it is even worse.

ok let me explain why adarah is alould by storage, and alould to do one wine run a week. It is because it helps the game, not because we are friends with the owner of the game(even though a few riva members are because they ahve helped in the devlopment of the game, me being one as a map maker, and there are other map makers in riva, plus writers, and even a few programers, plus one ofour leaders hosts a download link for el for free!!!!!) but that has nothing to do with why we have special treatment for adarah, we have it because we showed ent and roja that us having them abiltys helps the game. If you ever played el before adarah was around you would have noticed how empty it was in gramps, there was only ever 10 people at that storage at the most, people would go to VOTD enstead causing alot of lagg there, but now all pot makers go to adarah as they can buy wine for cheap and not having to move from storage, we go through 4k wine a day, and this is why adarah is alould to do 1 wine run a week, so we can boost up her wine stock so we can keep selling wine for cheap, and without this a lot of people wouldn't bother going to gramps storage they would go somewhere else causing more lagg there.

Also the reason we are alould to use storage(yes adarah can access storage from where she is standing, just about) is so we can sell pots, this again, as adarah is in a storage that is empty without her, brings fighters to come to her and by 100's of pots at a time, if we would have ask to have access to votd storage i could almost promise you it would have been rejected, because that would bring more people to votd even though it is already crouded.

If you have a bot that you think should have access to storage then pm roja or ent and state the reason why you think you should have it. personally I would say something like;
i think my bot should have access to NC storage because that storage is always empty, and if i could have access to storage there i would be able to sell not stackable items it bulk, forcing people to leave storages such as VOTD and coming to NC, which would mean NC will look more like a town instead of a ghost town, and it will mean there will be less lagg in VOTD. Also it means i could sell pots like br's and sr's, and because adarah is the only bot that sells pot in mass amount(because its currently the only bot that has access to storage) they can charge high price for there pots, and if i have access to storage as well i could bring cheaper pots to people and forces some competion on price between my bot and adarah.

If you say something like that there is a high chance you will get access to storage in NC, all you have to do is show why you having access to storage is good for the game, and you will get it

Needless to say Adran, I don't insult Adarah in public. I do disagree with how she gains special privileges though and that stance will always remain.

well i expland why she is aloud to be there and go on wine runs, it has nothing to do with favratism, if you help the game(weither that be actually helping in the devlopment, or your bot helps(we do both)) then you will get rewarded

First of all welcome (back) to our forum, even if your lips don't bring the voice of peace and tranquility.... I say with all my heart because people have various and diverse reference systems and values and i accept those as forms of the diversity that makes each one of us unique.

Second of all: Eternal Lands is a game. A virtual place were we either want to fell good (each in is own way) or give somehow intensity to our spare time. That's why I think we should respect eachother no matter the feelings that have grown inside us in this space.

Riva and other guilds are nothing more than entities made of people that have similar values, goals, ideas. But is a virtual place. I underline this because many of the threats, - pk'ing related - only belong to this space. It is impossible to think that in RL all the EL pk'ers are criminals. Or if they meet me in RL could tell me the same things they do here. (Just imagine how a 12 y old child, that here tells someone "hi shadow. you are a stupid n00b" and discovers that "shadow" he used to pk and/or curse is his father's business partner, has 40 y old and will come to dinner.

Let us try not to mix the real and virtual dimensions and to be unable of understanding that the char i play with is just a char and not I. And if we accidentally meet in RL and you need my help you will have it even if, in the hours you play EL, you own a char that once pk'ed mine. We can always go for a beer and stuff because we are humans and not computer generated 3d models.

A and by the way i have RL friends that also play EL and don't agree with some of the Rivan rules. But they are my friends and will be. There are other things that links us, bonds that won't be broke by the fact that he attacks me in a PK map because his guild and mine didn't decided to "virtually sign a virtually a non-agression pact".

As for Adarah's complaints... I don't want to explain how much Adarah helps the EL comunity. Because underlining this will take many pages to fill. I have only a question. Your guild owns a bot similar or better than Adarah (from the software point of view) and you didn't got the approval for it? Because if you don't own such, i don't see where is the discrimination you speak about and this discution is useless

You don't like it because you don't benefit. Well, welcome to life. If you believe one of the great evils in the world is a guild who has been helping the game for well over a year in ways no other guild has and have earned a privelege because of it, then you're going to be greatly disappointed in life. It's all around you. Companies work out favortism deals with governments. Employees will work out deals with their bosses (that other employees don't get).

well one of them owns madamyes or something, that is at the old DP storage spot, and tryed to get access to storage but was turned down, proberly because the mods didn't think it would benfit the game.

Play read the reasons why adarah have special trement, then if your cleaver, which im sure you are, you will use it to get yourself speical privallages. Just remeber it needs to help the game(thats why i suggest you say about getting people out of crowded storages and to NC because it empty, you just have to think of ways which you could do this, i personal have an idea on how to do this but i cant program a bot, maybe if you pm me on the el forums i'll tell you it, because i would love to see it in game because it would really help a lot of people

I don't see how this thread could possibly be going on for this long... just read Kedan's post.

1) Potions are non-stackable, and Adarah sells them bringing some competition to the potion market

2) Grahams (NOT GRAMPS ) village would be empty otherwise. Having adarah sell cheap wine (1 wine run per week) helps spread out the population, and reduce lag.

3) You could cry some more on these forums about how "unfair" this is, or try to think up a way that having access to storage would benifit the game, and not just your wallet in EL.

4) What good does it do, hanging around Adarah and spewing on how much you dislike her around people that use her... why would you even be at Raven so much time of the day when it's so out of the way... are YOU using her too? :shock:

I've got nothing against you guys, and I'm not at all worried about your ploys against Adarah, just I'm just getting annoyed with how long this is dragging on, and how much I'm forced to hear about it... :?
